Who Are We

Our focus and purpose is to teach the fundamentals of basketball from the ground up while making sure to stay within the "pace" of this continuous evolving game. Everything we do is aligned with our "P.A.C.E" acronymn.


P = Precision

Paying a rediculous attention to detail in everything that we do to ensure that we are building the correct habits. At the end of the day, we are what we repeatedly do.


A= Attitude and Accountability

We maintain a positive attitude and understand that in order to #GetBetter we must hold oursevles and each other accountable and not get discouraged. We understand that it takes time to achieve the results we want.


C=Communication

We communicate our values in everything that we say and do.


E=Enhance

We continuously look for ways to make everything about our program better. Whether that be through our programming, staff, athletes, and coaches we are always looking for ways to #GetBetter.

Michael Costa

Michael Costa

Coach Michael Costa is heading into his fourth season as the Girls Head Varsity Coach at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School. In 2022, Coach Costa was awarded the "4 Deep Sports" Girls Basketball "Coach of the Year" award for leading his team to a 22-3 record and a final four appearance! Coach Costa career began at Boston College High School where he played two years of varsity basketball under Head Coach Jerry Morelli. While Michael was at BC High, he was a two time Catholic Conference Champion in both the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons. During the 2003-2004 season, Mike was the starting point guard for the Eagles who went 19-5 that season and was named a Catholic Conference All-Star. From there, Michael went on to play four years of college basketball at Framingham State University. He was a three year starter and a two time captain during his junior and senior seasons. During his career at Framingham State, Michael helped lead the Rams to two MASCAC conference championship appearances as well as two ECAC Division III New England Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament appearances. During his sophomore year at Framingham State, Michael was #4 in the nation for all Divisions in steals. In each of his last two seasons, he finished with over 200 points 100 rebounds and 100 assists. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Moderate Disabilities 5-12 and he now works as a Special Education Teacher.
